Went with a friend to see the amateur strip show. Had a blast. Queens are queens and there is the usual attitude from the regulars. The only way to beat that is to become a regular. The guys are amateur strippers so yes they approach you and thats that.

Threre were lots of cars in th parking lot but the place os not busy. I wonder where thenothers went? The place had a great layout and pretty modern. If it were in the gay district, it would be a hit. Many straights around.

I can't give a thorough review because I was a visitor for one night. But I can tell you I went on a friday and there were not very many boys there. It is a pretty big place with two large dance areas, very large outdoor area, and three bars. Staff was really nice.

Seriously this place is a dump. I was afraid to be there, when I went to the restroom some guys where doing it, so nasty. The strippers are twinky and not very attractive. A place that should be avoided.

I was there one day at noon. The place was almost empty, except for five or six old guys. The bartender was very sweet and friendly, his name was "Lulu". I stayed there less than an hour, but I liked it. I guess the feeling of "old gay bar" was present. There was no attitude and it was a refreshing experience.

The title says it all. This bar has unique patios and several bar serving areas. It is not really a dance club because the dance floor looks like you were at a high school dance. Poles in the middle of the floor, a lighting system that looks like it was purchased in 1981, and people walking through to another part of the bar. This bar is known for street hustlers / wanna be strippers and drag queens that can't get jobs anywhere else. If you are looking to spend a little money to touch hustler guys, this is your place. Nothing wrong with what goes on here but definetly not your upscale or trendy bar.

THIS POLACE IS A GREAT PLACE FOR A STRIPPING SHOW TO BE. THERE IS THIS CUTE, VERY NICE BARBACK CALLED OPIE. HE LOOKS LIKE OPIE AND MADE LAUGH AND HAVE A GREAT TIME. THE BEST BARTENDERS AROUND. FAVORITE IS MICHEAL. HE SUCH A GREAT GUY AND JUST LOVE TO BE AROUND WITH. THEY DO HAVE ANOTHER BAR OPENED IN THE HEIGHTS CALLED IN-N-OUT. ITS A BAR-LOUNGE TYPE OF PLACE. 21+ BUT ANYWAYS EJS IS A GREAT PLACE FOR GUYS TO BE AROUND. THEY HAVE MACHINES YOU CAN PLAY FOR ENJOYMENT ONLY. GO THERE FOR A GREAT TIME. TALK TO OPIE WHILE U ARE AT IT. HE MOVES AROUND DO SEE IF YOU CAN CATHC HIM FOR A QUICK CHAT.

Out of the ordinary

Don't let first impressions get the best of you when going. Some places are indescribable, EJ's is one of those places. This reviewer has mixed emotions when it comes to this bar. It has a very eclectic group of people that frequent the place. The clientele is generally older. It has a reputation for being a hustler bar, but the times I've been, I've never seen the numerous hustlers that the bar rumours to have. There is great potential in the bar to be one of the hottest bars in Houston. Off the main street and with ample free parking all this bar needs is some modernization. It has a huge dance floor and Patio with a bar. There is a pond with Coy Fish, a deck and a aviary filled with Parakeets (last time I was there). Monday nights is an amature Go-Go boys dance contest. The stage is small and off to the side, with little seating. Amenities are: 1 pool table, a couple of pinball and video machines a crane game and a snack machine. If you're looking for a cruise bar, a twink bar or a packed dance club, this isn't the place to go, but if you're looking for something out of the ordinary with friendly people and if the mood hits, a place to dance, then you may like this bar. I have to rate it neutral, as I said, I have mixed emotions about the place. On a side note, if you're a woman, you will need to get a key from the bartender to use the bathroom. The mens room, however, it always unlocked.
