Dirty and Broken Steam Room

The last couple of times I've been there, the sauna stinks and the steam room is out of order. The spa is cold or lukewarm at best. Shower valves don't work properly and water is not hot. There should be wooden stools in the showers.

I travel extensively and this is the best club I have been. A variety of men and a clean and friendly establishment. If I'm doubt, I recommend Club Houston

what you'd hope for in a club...

no place is perfect, but this place is pretty good. being a former local, there are some things to keep in mind. the place rocks on half price nights (check on website - but it used to be wed and tues). best times for those nights is after work until about 8 or 9pm. fri and sat nights are also busy starting at about 1am. sunday afternoons are also a good time as well - often accompanied by a buffet (once again, check the website). the place has a great mix of public and semi-private spaces. there are some booths with glory holes that get a surprising amount of action. big porn room. sauna usually gets a lot of action. the only public place i've never seen busy is the outdoor "dark room." the deluxe rooms are quite large and the regular sized rooms are perfectly fine - although a few are a bit small and located in funky locations. gym is huge. pool is great and houston's weather makes it usable most of the year. overall a great place to have some fun. just make sure you pick a good night. the parking lot makes it easy to tell quickly. but if you're there, you're probably horny and heading in anyway...

Fabulous place with marvelous facilities, which can assure whatever u wanted there. Pity for me too many bears there when I visited, maybe it's the bypass products of American food, I.e Macdonalds lol

Best place in Houston.

Despite what another reviewer said. This place has never, ever been dirty. I have been enjoying this place for years. The gym rivals any in Houston and the outside pool and sauna area top notch. There have been some changes, for better or worse, I can attest. But all around it is the best place in houston.

Nice club, good mix of guys

Visiting from out of town and stopped in on a Sunday afternoon. It was cold out and rainy, so wasn't sure if it would be busy or not, especially with their nice outdoor pool area. Wasn't bad for late afternoon. Liked the club itself, it is really big, and does make it feel like it may not be super busy. But you wander around and find where the guys are. In the little maze area with the glory holes and platforms had some fun. Had a variety of colors, shapes and sizes. I think it's worth checking out. And the viewing platform above the showers and jacuzzi is really hot!

A Good Place to Hook up

Been going here for years. Definitely a good place if you want to get off. Needless to say, the "big boys" (and I don't mean height and weight) show up from time to time. And a lot of guys you wouldn't see at bars, too (married, etc). The place is nice. The gym is well turned out, pool is great, and they keep the whole place clean. Only problem is the showers. Hot water is intermittent. Update: December 2010. UGH. Got $29 video room because there were no regular rooms left. Remote did not work - . No refund, no attempt at staff to make things right. I guess since they have only one competitor (Midtowne), they figure "the queens will put up with anything". How sad the 4th largest city in the US still has 70's-era mentality.

Great Place // Thumbs Up

This is a great Sauna, on Tues, Wed, Fri and Sat. EXTREMELY clean, modern, sometimes some attitude, but often fun and uninhibited. Dark areas are nice; as well as dry and wet sauna. and a clean wirlpool. Better than Midtowne which is grossly DIRTY and old. Wed pm is crowded and busy due to 1/2 price lockers. Have fun boys!

Much better than midtown spa. Way better facility in terms of newness and cleanliness. Te people at midtown are just guys thatnlike to gawk and stare. This place is worth the slightly higher entrance fee.

This used to be the stellar Club in the chain, last visit after a year away I found it dirty in disrepair and needing a face lift badly. The guys are still semi hot but the surroundings take away from the experience.

Place pretty much blows

When people from smaller towns come to Houston, they expect to find the best of things. This ain't it. If the owners had spent half as much effort making their guests comfortable as they did on picking out new wall sconces, the place might be better. As it is, though, it's uncomfortable and unwelcoming, sort of like a Fortune 500 lobby. Spacious, yes -- so big that, no matter how many people there are, it felt empty. Nice pool area, and literally a full gym. Why, I don't know; there was nobody using it. I'd expect more activity on a Friday night. There might have been 50 or 60 people there, but most were in private rooms, and those who were out in the open seemed, well, afraid to touch. They were everywhere caught in the too-bright glare of gigantic televisions. There was only one cozy little hideaway -- the size of a closet; there were no comfortable chairs or sofas to relax on, just a couple of stadium risers covered with scratchy carpeting. The glory holes were unused, and there was no pretense of anonymity with most of them. And everybody there seemed to work at law firms in the same building.

If You Like Blow Buddies in San Fransisco...

The Club Houston (a chain) has made alot of improvements positioning itself as a playground mecca! From gym, saunas, to public areas such as video room with sling, rows of booths with glory holes to the "service station" room with ramp & holes all around. Set up is like Blow Buddies, only you can talk here...wish they had a silence rule in the public areas...would make it even more exciting!
