The Illusion of the Precise: A Group Exhibition at Wade Wilson Art

Wade Wilson Art Houston is pleased to announce, a group exhibition featuring works by Robert Ryman, Mark Williams, and Todd Williamson. The opening reception will take place on Friday, January 11, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. The show will close Saturday, February 2, 2013. The purity and simplicity of the relationship between line and space have immense potential for expression and equal breadth of form. Robert Ryman, Mark Williams, and Todd Williamson approach their syntheses of line from disparate backgrounds, yet Wade Wilson Art brings these artists together for The Illusion of the Precise. In an exploration of the conversation between the language of line and the language of space, and the emotive and aesthetic responses the dialogue elicits, the exhibition brings a curated selection of works from each artist to explore this breadth of possibility.
