Houston is one of the most diverse cities in the United States and has its own rich history in regards to the LGBT movement. Commemorating our history has been part of Pride Houston's ongoing mission and so this event is dedicated solely to creating an endowment so that in the near future all of Houston can experience a Houston LGBT Museum.
The Crystal Ballroom is a 1913 historic ballroom located in the heart of downtown Houston’s Rice Hotel. Originally the capitol of the Republic of Texas, this is one of Houston's most unique and historic landmarks.
KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Elizabeth Birch
Elizabeth Birch is an American attorney and former corporate executive who chaired the board of directors of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force from 1992-1994. She served as the Executive Director of the Human Rights Campaign, the nation's largest LGBT organization, from January 1995 until January 2004.
