Daniel Anguilu has moved outside his first passion of clandestine clamor, graffiti, and murals, into drawings on paper. He has shifted his focus to drawing in order to refine his muralist vision. Often dubbed the Diego Rivera of Houston, Anguilu’s newest works feature the dynamics of creating a large-scale mural in marker, pen and paper. These complex drawings outline the intensity and deliberate skill his murals contain. He has scaled them into smaller form, creating a more treasured and intimate feel. Please join us Feb. 6th at 7:00 at Commerce Street Gallery for Daniel Anguilu's “Drawings.”
