Pre Drag-Show Happy Hour: Sponsored by RAP

RAP to sponsor Pre Drag-Show Happy Hour Friday, April 18th 2014 at 6:30 p.m. Willy’s Pub - Rice Memorial Center Join Rice Alumni Pride (RAP) for a Happy Hour gathering to celebrate PRIDE week on campus by supporting our student group Queers & Allies (Q&A) with its Annual Drag Show (being held from 8-10 p.m. in Willy’s Pub)! For those who wish to attend the actual event, we are asking for a $20 donation. All of the proceeds from this fantastic event go to the Montrose Center’s Youth Program - HATCH: Hatch Youth is dedicated to empowering lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, questioning youth and their allies, ages 13-20, to become positive contributors to society by providing a safe social environment for LGBTIQA youth, offering role models and peer support, and sponsoring educational and community outreach opportunities: http://www.hatchyouth.org/ The RAP community wants to play an integral role in supporting our LGBTIQA student community – and toward that end, we are asking for your help.
