LGBT Marriage & Adoption Seminar

This free seminar will discuss the pros and cons of getting married. It will include a discussion of the tax and financial issues, as well as how real and personal property is classified in Texas based on whether a person is married or not. We will also discuss social security issues related to getting married, as well as how being married may affect one’s public benefits. It will also include a discussion of the immigration rights of people who are married or intend to get married. We will also cover the ability to adopt children whether you are married or not. Anyone considering getting married may want to attend this free seminar before the decide whether to get married or not.
