Daily Lunch Special- new sculpture by Alex Larsen

Alex Larsen's current sculpture compresses three dimensional forms into two dimensional planes. Though the work borrows both material and process from heavy construction and sculpture, Larsen's investigations highlight the subtle nuances of material choice and it's consequential mark making. He often creates his own composites and reappropriations of found material. Alex has been making art in his east Houston studio for four years, Capitol Street Gallery is pleased to present the first solo showing of his work.
