Walk in PRIDE with the University of Houston!

SIGN UP HERE: bit.ly/UHPride --- Calling all UH Students, staff, faculty, alumni and friends: Be part of the 2016 Pride Parade as a representative of the University of Houston! Saturday, June 25th Line up between 6:45 - 7:15 pm Entry #26 on the outbound lanes of Allen Parkway (near Sam Houston park). Look for the UH Float! Show your Cougar spirit as you engage the crowd, flash the Cougar paw, and let the world know that UH is a proud supporter of the LGBTQ+ community! (The parade begins at 8:00 pm and ends near Milam and Jefferson St. We will not loop back to the starting point, so plan accordingly.) ---- Tips: Bring water and snacks. Houston is HOT in June, and the line up period can be lengthy. Red and white beads run out FAST. Consider bringing your own personal supply of red and white beads. "Party Boy" on Studemont has a large selection. --- Official Rules: No alcohol/drugs in staging area or during the parade Keep noise to a minimum during staging No water guns or water balloons to be used No glitter, confetti, streamers, paper products of any kind No public nudity Signup is for walkers only; no getting on/off the float during the parade.
