Bio
Amanda Lepore has had quite an eventful year. She appeared in a high-profile European Smart car commercial, performed at Europe’s largest HIV/AIDS fundraiser – “The Life Ball in Vienna” – alongside such luminaries as The Scissor Sisters and served as host for the star-studded GLAAD fundraiser in NYC – all while touring internationally and looking impeccable.
Always serving for the high-fashion world, Lepore starred in Terry Richardson’s shoot for Sergio K’s 2012 Winter Campaign, served as a Global Ambassador for Société Perrier, was photographed in Tokyo for the hot new Japanese label Pameo Pose, and partied in Berlin with Germany’s leading fashion and reality TV provocateur, Harald Gloocker.
In the art world, Lepore’s face adorned gallery walls in New York, Stockholm, and Tel Aviv, including David LaChapelle’s famous “Burning Beauty” exhibition, in which she is styled as Warhol’s “Marilyn.” She also starred in Elias Wessel’s “There Must be More to Life” photo project, in which Wessel took an ironic and critical look at personal and societal quests for acceptance. She even graced the cover of the menu at Cafeteria, NYC’s infamous 24/7 eatery, in honor of their 15th anniversary.
On screen, she was featured on the Here! TV special, “Because of an Earlier Incident.” Onstage, she wowed audience in more than 30 countries this year alone performing her hit songs, “Doin’ It My Way,” “Marilyn,” “Turn Me Over” and “Champagne,” from her debut album, I...Amanda Lepore – all while remaining the pinnacle of glamour.
