Houston's Pride celebrations kick off with a Pride Festival around noon. Houston City Hall transforms into a rainbow-gilded space full of people celebrating community and Pride. The Festival lasts through the afternoon into the evening, which is when the Parade kicks off. The Parade lasts about three hours and ends at night, a few hours after the sun has set. Several parties also take place the weekend of Houston Pride as well, giving the community plenty of opportunities to celebrate.
