Houston's Pride celebrations kick off with a Pride Festival to rival all others. Houston City Hall transforms into a rainbow-gilded space full of people celebrating the LGBTQ+ community. The Festival lasts through the afternoon into the evening, which is when the Parade kicks off. The Parade lasts several hours and ends a few hours after the sun sets. Several parties also take place the weekend of Houston Pride, giving the community plenty of opportunities to celebrate.
