Seriously?
Dang! where do u start! This place is more a bear bar than a Leather bar - If you're looking for the perfect mix of VERY Large big tittied shirtless bears, Mullet wearing guys with small to medium sized d**ks, naked old guys with SAGGING ARSES, NELLY drunk mexican btms then you've hit the jack pot! Houston maybe the 4th largest city in the nation but it's the world largest trailer park! - hands down - This place was like no other leather bar its more like viewing sad acts of desperation in play. Its the best afterhours B'cause one is a drug den (SouthBeach) then u have this place. Houstons "GAY" night life is on life support and someone should do the humane thing and trip over the cord. I spent a week here before moving to London and it appears to be official that Houston rather gay houston is a border town OVER RUN with drunk nelly/VERY fem mexican bottoms doing just bout anything for a drink - Seriously? I better understand the much older white guy with the latin lover? w/e? At times I felt I was in a gay retirement community. This was the most bored I've ever been. Oh and the Bar/bear tenders? T-I-R-E-D! could not get the order correct, way too busy talking to friends and trying to cruise guys - way 2 work for a tip
The Rip Cord - A long-time iconic leather bar in the center of the famous Gay Mecca Montrose-Houston area. Always familiar & fresh faces, & bodies, for your pleasures. A spacious patio provides privacy for your brief encounter, or even a break - if that's your thing. The handsome bartenders' generosity will sooth your rattled nerves, while keeping a friendly, watchful eye on your sobriety - he is indeed your good friend. Leather &/or denim is the preferred dress code, but come as you are & they'll "take care you", the Rip-Cord-Way. Long-time patron, GaryQVV
Unpretentious as most leather bars are, and very friendly staff. Parking is a nightmare as ripcord does snot have onsite parking but other than that great friendly place!
Oh Boy Says this country boy!!!!
I loved the beer and the attention I got. I got to be the center of attention on the patio. I will be a regular here when I get to come out.
