Midtowne Spa (Closed Permanently)

Dissapointed

Became in paying 6 month member in June/July sometime.After moving to the area.Made a couple of visits and had some fun. Was going to start going weekly ...when on my third visit they can't find my membership. And wanted to charge me full price for a room. The clerk gave me a member price and grumbled....I 'll do it this time...but " I don't think you are a member" Is this how you treat your customers....he might as well have called me a liar to my face....which I told him...... It's not about the money pal.....it's about treating customers right. I will never step foot in there again.....I was more than happy to continue paying for membership......but to be all but called a liar ,because you can't use your own computer files or keep records.....ever thought of giving a customer their membership number or a membership card to show that I paid? The Club,here I come....

This place sucks

I decided to try the Midowne Spa on a Sunday evening when I usually go to the Club. Nobody was here. No action, no people, boring. The bathroom stalls don't have any doors so when I needed to clean myself out, it was a public event. Good thing nobody was there. After cleaning myself and getting reading for the night, I walked around and found nobody. That's right, I said nobody! I decided it was better to get a bottle of wine and jerk off at home than stay here. Maybe another night would be better. I certainly hope so!

floored

I was one of the biggest fan of this dirty little hole in the gay wall... Until last Monday at least --- It much needed release and outlet for my anxiety and frustrations and I actually had started making a few little buddies there -- sad but true.... One of the two times i did spill something - I ran home and got the stuff to clean it up -- I always had the same room and the tv was quirky and so I brought a little wire and fixed it --- and I even helped out not one ... But TWO people who I were falling out from too much G... And sat there bored out of my mind for an hour and half or two hours to make sure they were okay.... So what happened to get me rambling on...? They banned me! For life! Rudely! They said I burned a pillow! Which unless I got some super power.. There is NO way That I did this ... I am just floored and will not listen to me or the few employees that tried to reason with him... It's sad... Real sad ... So I say... Do what I was forced to do and take ur money over to club HOUSTON. Sigh.

Hey guys, I had the opportunity to be a guest at both clubs ( Midtown spa and The Club) and I tell you what.. The club was more like mediocre compared to the kind of guys and effects there were at the Midtowne spa... May be I was just lucky but The staff were more friendly and I saw a lot of young black and latinos and some great looking white guys too so it was a great mix and I had as much as I wanted to choose from.. I don't think this was mere luck and coincidence and I don't know if this was because it was a saturday night, but again, as I said, I was in both places the same night so.... I will come back to Midtowne when next I visit Houston from Jersey

this place must have a lot of friends...

'cuz i can't believe the number of stars it gets... so, this place isn't awful, but it isn't that nice. a bit dark. a bit funky. some nice points include a big porn theater and a decent hot tub. the pool is dark and out of the way. the steam sauna could've been nice, but it's got a nasty smell. public areas are hit or miss. you'll find friendly guys here, but not the best looking. tends to be an older crowd in my experience - so great if that's what you're looking for. parking lot can make it tough to see if it's busy or not - so that can be hit or miss. not a total waste of time, but i ended up having more fun in the other club.
