Greek food in the gay-borhood
Since 1977, this popular restaurant has been serving the Montrose community great Greek food in a friendly atmosphere. And the best part: It's within walking distance of many of Houston's LGBTQ bars and clubs.

      Great Greek Food
Amazing food, casual and good menu selection. The food is delicious amd especially the potatoes. Can be very crowded.

I used to go to Niko Nikos many years ago with my family, when the place was just a little box, lol. Now they expanded, but the food is still amazing. What I like about this place is that everything is casual, disposable plates, cups and cuttlery. This is a place where I like to hang with friends and have a good time.

      Went there may 1
Pork chops were amazing, humus was good, but not the best i have eaten. A little pricy, but worth it, make sure to eat outside weather permitting.

Best Greek Food Outside of Greece!
I love Niko Niko's! It has everything you could imagine. All the pastries and desserts are freshly baked daily, the lamb in incredible and the garlic mashed potatoes are like an orgasm for your taste buds. The only downside to Niko Niko's is the limited parking, but don't let that detour you!

Have only been once, but I would try it again. It's definitely casual (place your order at the counter and get a number) but I'm not so sure it's inexpensive. If you get a "dinner" and some sweets to go, you'll spend about $20. Definitely authentic, though, with lots of traditional Greek dishes

      Quick quality Greek food.
Right on Montrose just a block or two from the clubs/bars. I like the roasted chicken and, of course, Greek salads and deserts. Flavorful and tasty. Popular takeout, or dine in. Very casual. Inexpensive. Been there since 1977...recently remodeled.
